Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages across Greater Boston during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with sorting and loading packages at the distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Boston-area roads and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts including weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
