Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders across Portland metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking systems
- Verify order details and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adapt to dynamic urban environments and navigate Portland's unique traffic patterns
- Uphold company safety protocols and defensive driving standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Portland neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
