Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package deliveries across Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests using our proprietary tracking system
- Verify delivery accuracy through signature collection and photo documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
- Secure packages properly to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs/difficult terrain
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone technology
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work independently in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
