Responsibilities
- Timely delivery of packages and goods across San Diego County during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to maximize efficiency
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure cargo and handle packages with care to prevent damage
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
