Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses across Charlotte
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking updates in real-time
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Coordinate with dispatch team for schedule adjustments and urgent deliveries
- Handle returns and exchanges per company protocols
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metropolitan area and navigation apps
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 8am-6pm)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
