Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in all weather conditions while adhering to traffic laws
- Efficiently load/unload packages using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and documentation for accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with San Antonio geography and major roadways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
