Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Minneapolis metropolitan area during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Verify delivery accuracy, obtain proper signatures, and maintain detailed delivery logs
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain professional appearance and courteous customer interactions at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metropolitan area streets and navigation systems
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
