Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Miami-Dade County during overnight hours
- Execute efficient route planning using GPS navigation systems to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional interactions
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and optimize routes
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient in using smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management skills with ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) including weekends
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Miami neighborhoods and traffic patterns preferred
