Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Chicago metropolitan area during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Verify package details and obtain proper signatures upon delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and basic warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and GPS navigation systems
- Reliable transportation to and from shift location
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Basic computer skills for digital documentation systems
