Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods across Tampa Bay area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safe driving protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet overnight delivery deadlines
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay roadways and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and communication apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
