- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during after-hours interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and urgent deliveries
- Secure packages and verify delivery receipts
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs
- Proficiency with GPS navigation apps and smartphone technology
- Availability to work flexible overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of San Diego geography and traffic patterns
