Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across NYC boroughs during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Assist with loading/unloading operations while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries with solutions-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial driving license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs in apartment buildings
- Strong knowledge of NYC streets, boroughs, and traffic patterns
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
