Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Tampa Bay
- Efficiently load/unload shipments using proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Tampa area
- Reliable transportation to/from warehouse
- Flexibility to work 10 PM - 6 AM schedule
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
