Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Represent Omaha Logistics Solutions with professional appearance and courteous customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
