Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers in Jacksonville, FL, and New York, NY.
- Load and unload freight carefully to ensure product safety and prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring accurate signatures and proof of delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Utilize handheld technology to track delivery status and update logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong sense of direction and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
