Location Coverage: While based in Raleigh, NC, our routes cover the greater Triangle area and extend into New York for regional deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs.
- Safely load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and secure loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and road maps, adhering to all traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, handling paperwork and maintaining a professional image.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
