Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Transport freight between distribution centers and client locations throughout California
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation (BOLs, manifests)
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of California highway systems and delivery zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Ability to use GPS technology and communication devices
