Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery across regional routes
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Secure cargo according to safety protocols and verify delivery documentation
- Support warehouse operations when needed during pre-loading/post-unloading activities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in overnight/shift work
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills and punctuality for critical delivery windows
