Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across Michigan and neighboring states with on-time delivery
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and load adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized materials
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed trucks preferred
