Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) during overnight hours
- Execute efficient loading/unloading procedures with minimal supervision
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA standards
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections ensuring vehicle roadworthiness
- Adapt routes dynamically using GPS navigation systems
- Uphold strict delivery schedules with 99% on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM schedule)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Arizona highways and Tucson metro area
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
