Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) during overnight hours (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes across Southern Arizona with GPS precision
- Maintain meticulous pre-trip/post-trip inspections and electronic logs (ELD)
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper securement protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Support warehouse operations during pre-dawn hours when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1-year experience (no recent preventable accidents)
- Pass DOT medical examination and possess clean driving record
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management skills for strict delivery windows
- Knowledge of Arizona highways and regional geography
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts and route adjustments
- Previous reefer experience highly preferred
