Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and pre/post-trip inspection reports
- Navigate efficiently through San Antonio metro area using GPS systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route conditions
- Ensure cargo security and temperature control as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong familiarity with San Antonio roadways and Texas highways
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts and weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
