Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries throughout DC metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Accurately document delivery logs and maintain cargo security protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and time-sensitive deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all federal FMCSA regulations and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC metropolitan area routes
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday)
