Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods using owned box truck within Wisconsin and Midwest region
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery using provided GPS technology
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-sensitive, oversized, hazardous materials)
- Build client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Milwaukee metro area residency required
