Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers using personal vehicles in Chula Vista and surrounding areas
- Maintain clean, well-maintained vehicles with optimal comfort standards
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation for efficient pickups and drop-offs
- Complete trip documentation and maintain accurate ride records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and CityRide safety protocols
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable 4-door vehicle (2010+ model) with current registration/insurance
- Smartphone with latest rideshare app capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of Chula Vista geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to pass background check and vehicle inspection
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak hours
- Basic English fluency; bilingual Spanish preferred
