Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries and freight transport
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with proper handling protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventative maintenance
- Smartphone with reliable data access for dispatch apps
- Own or lease a DOT-compliant box truck (6-26 ft)
- Pass background check and drug screening
