Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate student transportation records
- Enforce bus safety rules and procedures
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and student needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and DPS policies
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license (minimum 1 year clean record)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement
