Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries across the Midwest
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork using digital systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in training new weekend drivers as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic proficiency with digital logging devices (ELD)
