Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport goods to designated drop-off locations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel during loading and unloading.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUIs, major violations, or accidents within the last 3 years).
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours and weekends, if required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD).
