Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours to deliver freight on time
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete necessary paperwork including delivery receipts and incident reports
- Maintain professional conduct representing Prime Logistics Solutions at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities
