Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes across Oklahoma and surrounding states
- Meticulously maintain electronic logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery priorities
- Handle secure freight with zero-tolerance policy for damage or loss
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize fuel efficiency and delivery times
- Represent Swift Transportation with professional conduct at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR experience or equivalent regional driving
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) operation
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts during peak seasons
