Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes during overnight shifts
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate electronic logbooks and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and delivery timelines
- Ensure secure cargo handling and customer satisfaction at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and hazmat handling (endorsement preferred)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
