Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop deliveries across Louisiana and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and accurate maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Maintain clean, DOT-compliant driver logs and electronic records
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and regional geography
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) including weekends
