Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute efficient multi-stop delivery routes across Louisiana metro areas
- Maintain meticulous DOT compliance logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch teams using advanced telematics systems
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
- Participate in mandatory safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana transportation regulations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
