Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Uphold strict safety protocols and maintain clean driving records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Spotless MVR with no DUI/DWI violations in past 5 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Deep familiarity with Kentucky road networks and regulations
