Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during overnight hours on designated regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using advanced equipment and securement protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams using our digital platform
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at customer facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and basic navigation technology
- Strong commitment to safety and on-time delivery performance
- Physical capability to handle cargo loading/unloading in all weather conditions
