Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on designated routes within Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Inspect pre-trip and post-trip vehicle condition, documenting any mechanical issues or damages immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and covers to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation purposes.
