Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in safe operating condition.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
