Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional night routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Respond to route changes and emergency deliveries promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic familiarity with GPS and electronic logging devices
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
