Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers on designated routes within the Dallas metroplex efficiently and safely.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record and no major violations.
- Must be available to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Experience with flatbed, tanker, or dry van operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills, time management, and a commitment to safety.
