Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) during overnight hours
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Navigate Philadelphia metro routes efficiently using GPS technology
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia geography and PA roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Overnight shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM schedule)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic forklift certification preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
