Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery across the Nashville metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with HOS regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Overnight shift availability (11 PM - 7 AM) with flexibility
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area roadways
- HAZMAT/Tank endorsements preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous experience in cold chain or high-value freight preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
