Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations across DC metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or local driving experience
- Familiarity with Washington DC traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
