Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours
- Transport refrigerated and dry goods within Massachusetts and surrounding states
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (8 PM - 4:30 AM)
- Knowledge of local Boston metro routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
