Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries across Arizona and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, and basic preventative maintenance
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance protocols
- Accurately maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle loading/unloading operations when required at distribution centers
- Respond professionally to unexpected route challenges while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as operational needs require
