Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial vehicles for nighttime freight delivery
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Secure and unload freight at various locations throughout Northern California
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Complete required paperwork and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
