Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across Texas and Southwest regions with on-time delivery rates exceeding 98%
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo using specialized equipment (pallet jacks, forklift certification preferred)
- Document delivery processes and resolve customer inquiries with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Refrigerated trailer experience highly desirable
