Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) during overnight hours
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Louisville metro area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong navigation skills in Louisville area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
