Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for overnight freight transport
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Nebraska and surrounding states
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
