Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for overnight freight delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries within the Sacramento metro area
- Perform secure cargo handling and documentation procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California highway regulations and routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
